The food and agriculture sector is therefore a great opportunity for Italy. But if this is true, then it must overcome the contractual clash - between the farmers, who produce the agricultural raw materials, and the industries, who purchase them - and the tensions owing to the inadequate payment of raw materials must be solved because the country's strategic balance is at risk.
